Shoprite situated at Lekki, Lagos is currently under attack by angry mobs.
This in retaliation to the ongoing Xenophobic attack against Nigerians and other Africans in South Africa.
Africans most especially Nigerians have been killed in the attack which prompted Nigerians to occupy the companies owned by South Africans in Nigeria.
The Nigerian federal Government has summoned the South African government over the attack, the government promised immediate action on the incident.
The South Africa’s high commissioner to Nigeria, Bobby Monroe has dismissed reports of Xenophobic attacks in his country.
He defined the attacks as ‘sporadic acts of violence’ explaining that businesses belonging to other South African citizens were also affected in the attack.
The Nigerians have started dirupting the companies owned by South africa and many people have vowed to stop patronizing any market that belongs to the country.
