A group of masquerades have caused major riot in Akwa Ibom.
The angry Ekpo Masquerades have attacked the City of Living Grace Chapel, in Idu Uruan, Akwa Ibom State
It was noted that during the attack, properties were destroyed and many members were beaten up
The offenders are said to have stolen many valuables as well.
According to report, the masquerades were angry about Apostle Emmanuel Etim, the pastor of the Church’s preachings.
He had consistently preached against the practice of terrorising the citizens during the Ekpo masquerade festival.
This angered the masquerade and decided to attack the church and its members.
