Lagos gives ‘Stay-At-Home Order’ to Civil Servants over Coronavirus


The Lagos State Government has issued a “Stay at home” order to civil servants for the next 14 days.

The Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has announced that civil servants or public officers from Grade level 1 to 12 must observe a “stay at home” order for the next 14 days as part of precautions to curb the spread of the coronavirus disease.

This order was announced on Sunday March 22, 2020 by Sanwo-Olu during a statewide briefing.

He also reassured that all measures are being put in place to curb the spread of the virus and encouraged residents of the state to maintain the social distancing culture.

All those who have just returned from foreign trips must also self-isolate for 14-days to be sure they do not have the Coronavirus, Sanwo-Olu stated.
